Final Project

Final Statement

Since I knew I would need to do a final project I started to think what I should do. Thanks to Kellner's suggestion, I decided to do something about movie because I really like watching movie. No matter some romantic movie, comedy, documentary or even horror movie. Actually, I like both romantic and horror movie. Same as my friends! So, at first, I was thinking to record different type movie and get these pieces together but while I was recording the horror movie my friend thought I was watching it so she joined me. While the killer is trying to torture people I was scared by my friend's scream. I suddenly realized that it might be more interesting to record people’s behavior while they are watching movie. So I decided to make a project to show it.

After paid attention to the people who around me while they were watching movie I did find something. As I said in the narrative, people have common subconsciousness while they are watching movie. So I did a project to record people's behavior when they are watching different type movie. As usual, I watched a lot of movie with my friend and I recorded all of these processes.

In general, girls prefer to eating some food that can keep eating for a long time, like chips, popcorn and biscuits when they watch relaxing movie.  And they will also choose to watch it in a brighter room. Like the video I made, people will keep eating. That is not a big deal because most of people know it. However, opposite to the funny movie, girls will select to turn off the light or watch scary movie at night to fit the atmosphere with the movie. People might guess that there is none of girls would like this type movie because they all scared about these mysterious and dangerous things. On the contrary, most of girls who I know are all like these movies. They do afraid these so they would close their eyes to prevent to see the horrible pictures and screaming, but they still eager to know the result and the story. In my process of recording, you can see my friend cannot stop screaming when she saw the lady in movie were be killed. And she use a piece of paper to hide herself from the scary scene but she also could not stop to keep watching slinkingly and saying" No!!!!!! Stop it!!!It is too bad!!!!Too scary!!! Does he insane???" That is funny but it is really common in girls.  My friend was funnier because while I was recording these, she escaped from the table with screaming and said" WOW, it is horrible!!! It is toooo scary!!!". Actually, I felt really funny as well because she always does these kinds of things but she still love to watch it. She was keep hearing the sounds of movie in distance and keep asking "Tell me!!Tell me!!What happened in the movie now? Did the women die???"Something like that! I always cannot stop laughing. 

Girls really enjoy the process of watching horror movie. And that might confused for some guys but this is true. So I recorded all of these and add some music in it and keep the sound of movie and the talks my friends had. I also added some especial effect on it. After I did all of these things, I felt so released and interesting because I still can remember all of details when I recorded these. I think it is really interesting and valuable for all of us. Not only because it can shows girls funny behavior but also recorded my life in an interesting way. I really like it!

 

Narrative For Final.

Most of people are really interested in the Movie. Different type movie will result people have different reaction and behavior. In general, people will eat chips, fruit or have dinner with friends while they are watching some relaxing movie, such as comedy and romantic movie. But, if they are watching some horror movie, they won’t eat any food that might be similar with the movie. Last Friday, my friend cooked really delicious steak and we decided to watch a movie when we were going to eat. We chose“ Saw 7” along with our dinner. As you can imagine it, it was really bloody, and even the steak was pretty good, both of us did not eat any of it since the movie started. That is interesting!

More interesting thing is people always like watched movie with appreciate watching atmosphere. It might be no differ if they choose some relaxing movie but they do really enjoy watching some nervous movie in the quiet and dark place.

So, basic on these interesting points, I want to make a project to show people’s behavior or costumer while they are watching movie.

Make it again

I think my biggest failure in this semester is the project 3which is the bag to identify myself. It got a very low grade because of my statement and the boring of the picture, I guess. I do feel like it is very important for the class to show your thinking and creative instead of some boring pictures. I do not mean that skillful technic is boring, but I think express what are you thinking in a right way will be more important. That might be the truth of art for me.

In fact, if I can redo it, I will add more characteristic for my design. I might change the style of the picture instead that just put everything on the background in mass. I would make a better background, like some point that I am wearing it, and change the place of the staff in my bag in more visional and interesting way. Maybe place them by the importance for me and contains them one by one. Or add some more interesting words on it. Also I do need to rewrite my statement because I did miss some information. (Actually, I had already rewritten it.)

And, I really like the project of making a creative map and it did get a very high scores. But the most important thing I need to say about my greatest success is record my life. Both the map and even the sound were very interesting because they push me to too pictures in compass and record it. I saw a lot of beauty and amazing things around me but I did not notice it before. What’s more, it also helps me remind the skills of Photoshop and iMovie that I studied before. It was really great experience to remember some good thing again, especially for a skill!

Actually, when I heard thy words are open and grouping and went to union to get food I got a picture and I think it can be described as both "opening and grouping". You can see some of people group together and one of this is opening the door which is very expressive and warmth. Sometimes, when you feel upset and down, and noticed someone open a door for you, You will feel so warm and be lighted. Because there is someone still care about you.

However, I want to do something more interesting. I made a video an try to express both "open and group". In the video, you can see many of "opening" are fulfilled with our lives. Open a cup, open a book and open a pencil case. But grouping is not easy. You can get all of you want to as long as you are good at grouping. You need to know how to fit these different staff and also need to give up something that not very important.  That is my purpose of my video but also is life. No one can escape from this, and no one would get everything they want in mass. Try to fit all of staff and make them get together after thinking and practice.

Actually, I took a long time to think about where should I record before I made my decision to choose RPAC as the important part of my life. I used to work out several times but when I came to the RPAC, I still feel amazed by its great! And I always feel very excited while I am walking in it. As usual, when I took my camera got into the building and heard the familiar sounds I felt so exciting! So I paid a lot of emotion to the video and sounds. I tried almost every effects and background in order to describe my feeling. So I am pretty satisfied with my final draft. It will be heard a little mechanic and strength which mean the power and joy of working out. The most interesting part of the process of recording is while I was worried about how to record the fitness equipment, someone fall his dumbbell. Due to this accident, I recorded it successfully! I also feel satisfied that there were many people running on the running machine so that the sounds are easier to recognize. I do not have anything I do not like in the process of the recording because it all full of joyful.
